Mahatma Gandhi Speech
Long Ago, In The Year 1869, A Sweet Little Baby Was Born In The Gujarati City Of Porbandar. Mother Puttibai And Father Karamchand Gandhi Were Thrilled. The Child (Mohan) Was Given The Name Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. When Mohan Was Growing Up, His Mother’s Simplicity And Her Religious Beliefs, As Well As His Father’s Honesty And Strict Discipline, Had A Big Impact On Him.
The Timid Little Child Picked Up The Virtues Of Truthfulness, Honesty, And Discipline At A Very Young Age. He Adopted These Values And Lived His Life Demonstrating Their True Power To Everyone Around Him. Mohan Was A Victim Of Several Bad Habits As A Child. He Didn’t Tell His Parents About His Bad Deeds.
Gandhi’s Bad Habits Were Short Lived, Nevertheless, Because To His Parents’ High Ideals. He Acknowledged His Errors And Bad Habits And Expressed Regret For Them. Gandhiji Wrote A Letter To His Parents In Which He Admitted His Bad Habits.
He Became More Determined To Uphold The Parental Values As A Result Of This Incident. Gandhi Was Sent To Study Law In England. After Finishing His Studies, He Practised Law In India. He Went To South Africa For A Particular Case. White People And Black People Faced Discrimination Back Then.
He Was Travelling In South Africa By Train When He Was Thrown Out Of The First-class Compartment Because He Was Black. For Gandhiji, This Was A Very Humiliating Experience. He Returned To India After Deciding To Fight Against British Discrimination Against Black And White People.
In An Effort To Protest Injustice, Mahatma Gandhi Invented “Satyagraha,” A New Way To Fight The British Without Using Violence. He Had A Lot Of Supporters. People Referred To Him As Mahatma And Bapu (Father) (Saint). Bapu And His Allies Utterly Coerced The Creation Of A Forceful India In Opposition To British Rule.
Due To This, The British Detained Bapu And His Fellow Indian Freedom Fighters And Imprisoned Them. But Despite Everything, He Continued To Fight For Justice. There Was No Discrimination During The Satyagraha; Bapu Was Backed By Members Of All Castes And Religions.
In The Satyagraha Movement, Everyone-whether Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Or Of Any Other Religion-accepted One Another As Their Brothers And Sisters. The British Eventually Came To The Conclusion That Bapu And His Fighters Would Make It Impossible For Them To Rule India. The Date Of Our Nation’s Independence Was August 15, 1947.
This Was The First Time In The World’s And Humanity’s History That Satyagrahas Had Achieved A Significant Victory Via Nonviolence. Since That Time, The Entire World Has Recognised Bapu’s Greatness And The Resilience Of The Satyagraha Movement. Many Other Well-known World Leaders, Like Martin Luther King, Aung San Suu Kyi, Nelson Mandela, Anna Hazare, And Others, Used Nonviolent Protest To Call Attention To Injustice.
Every Year On October 2nd, Gandhi Jayanti Is Observed To Remember, Honour, And Pay Tribute To Gandhi’s Great Deeds. We Indians Make A Promise To Follow His Good Deeds On This Day.
